But I was still signed in before the hard reset... and from yesterday I'm back in the insider program, as you can see from the screenshot..

There are no Insider Builds for mobile released any more, it is completely pointless to stay in the program, you can only get a false update notification about a new PC build being available and your phone will get stuck trying to download or, God forbid, install it. I've seen this happen already.

You should opt out, there are no benefits and only potential problems from staying.

Did you try a complete reset?

Anyway, I think I've found a temporary solution. Shutdown the phone, remove sim card, bootup windows without sim card (now the apps should be working fine) then shoutdown the phone, put in the sim card, bootup windows and the apps should still working fine. Repeat the procedure every now and then at app locking occurrence...

Sure but at the moment the root cause seems to be unknown. To me, it looks like an OS side problem on some shared components at silverlight level.

Debating it here will not resolve anything, writing to Whatsapp will. Have you done that in the meantime ?

I did and got no answer.

Nevertheless there are several apps not working since the last OS update. Even parts from MS itself. So whom should I address?

It's an OS problem and MS is responsible for that.

At least I would expect a comment from MS here, wether they are responsible for this mess or not and an advice what to do.

But as they did shutdown Windows Mobile I believe there is only one poor guy left in the cellar who has to do all the work on this.

Let's pray he fixes the problem.

Otherwise the switch over to Android or IOS has to occur earlier then I thought.
