Infineon TPM Professional Package can't be uninstalled

I keep getting a message when I try and update, stating that; Uninstall this app now because it isn't compatible with Windows 10.

I've searched under Add/Delete Programs, File locations on C: and any other locations such as temp files etc, and can not locate this folder/file anywhere on my computer. How do I uninstall this app when I can't find it?

Same here, I had an Infineon folder on my desktop inside a folder with all my motherboard drivers. When I deleted it, I was able to install the update with no problem. 

If anyone has a problem locating the Infineon Folder on their PC, the "Everything" app from voidtools.com really helps as it searches in seconds through every single file and folder on the computer.

    Infineon is not necessarily the name of the file, for me it was just a path where a bunch of files were located in (Desktop\New folder (3)\GIGABYTE\Other\IFX\x64\program files\Infineon). After deleting all files, I had no issues installing.

    If you use the "Everything" app from voidtools.com and have it search all of your pc for "Infineon" it should help you locate the folder. if that search does not get you anywhere, also try searching for "TPM".

    Hi, and thanks!

    The tool Everthing from voidtools.com was really a nice helper!

    I found a bunch of files in SWSETUP\ProtectTools\Embedded\Win32 that did contain the word Infineon, but no file itself was named so.

    I removed them, and after that the setup contiued.

    But it's wierd that the installaton process hangs on whats stored on my disk! It should focus on whats really installed on the system, not on what the disk happens to include! If this disk happens to be a backup from other machines, then it becomes a showstopper for further updates. Must be a bug.

    There was no folder "infineon". But finally there were files with TPM icon over the names of files and such files were found in several folders. In addition of those files, all files, mostly dll's had to be deleted. Actually complete folders were deleted.

    The installation of Infineon was original by HP as a standard feature. So, most HP computers are susceptible.

    Windows 10 Pro64 when trying to install - update from 1703 to 1709 on Lenovo Thinkpad E530 ( with definitely NO TPM ) and getting :

    "Infineon TPM Professional Package" error =???

    Infineon = misleading

    TPM = was NOT installed at all

    BUT

    using http://voidtools.com/ did manage so sort all "TPM" files/references and spotted that there were Hp drivers files in the separate desktop install folder - leftovers from previous IT work - not related @ all to this laptop setup!!!

    Removed them AND........all suddenly went through / OK.

    This might help somebody out there in the M$ wilderness no to commit suicide.
