When I go to event results after completing all challenges in Microsoft Solitaire it never seems right so today I wrote down the time it took to complete each challenge which was 31 minutes. The total time that showed up in the results was 1 hour and 1 minute????

I have the same issue as everyone else. My time in today's event is showing around 9.5 hours, which is utterly wrong. I did a few challenges, went to bed (after closing the app) and then finished the event. Hate this glitch. Is anyone from Microsoft Games actually working on it? The original poster has no meaningful response from them and it's been over a year.
Today I got 9:45:35 for solving the 20 games of the event, thats impossible. Of course that what happened was that I started a game and then I had to close the game on a rush to attend to something urgent. I returned to solitaire 8 hours later... guess what happened...
I once had a similar issue when I was on an airport and had to board the plane and on a rush closed the laptop (it entered hibernation), when I resumed the computer... the game was still counting the time, so the specific challenge had a terrible time.
The same thing just happened to me. I just played an event in what was probably about an hour and 10 minutes, and would have put me in first place in my group. I did not check the leaderboard until the very end, so I never looked at how long I'd taken so far. When I finished, they said my time was 6 hours and 45 minutes, which put me in 21st place - so far. I am so upset. When I first tried to start the first challenge in the event, it would not actually load. I left it like that and did some other things, completely forgetting about it. When I came back, it was still trying to load, and I think I was somehow on the clock that entire time!
The trouble shooter has nothing to do with this problem. The app opens, runs, closes, and plays all the games correctly. The problem is that the Event challenge does not add the times up correctly. The total time as shown by the game is longer than the total time I get by adding up the times I wrote down as each challenge finished. My time was shorter than the total time the game showed.
The problem, I think, is that it does not matter how long each individual challenge takes you to complete the game adds the time it takes for each advert, the length of time between each game beginning and the next one starting and if you start the challenge then go to bed ready to finish it the following day the hours that you are sleeping is also included in your total.
