Vista will no longer automatically update. Nothing I've attempted works to fix the issue.

Oddly enough, my WU ran successfully both yesterday (April 13) and this morning (April 14):

    Yesterday, it downloaded the following:

    • KB4017094
    • KB3127980
    • KB3191827
    • KB4014794

This morning, it downloaded the following:

    • KB915597 (Updates for Windows Defender)
    • KB890830 (Malicious Software Removal Tool)

@OUGrad: From your list above, I have them all except KB4014793 and KB4015068, where I got the message stating they "do not apply to your system"

So, from April 11 until today I downloaded a total of 17 updates either manually or through Windows Update. I'm still going to keep checking for updates here and through WU in case Micro$oft unloads some more they might have missed before the cutoff date of April 11.

Do you realize that his selection has nothing to do with completeness? Install KB4015195, any applicable of KB4014661, KB3191830, KB3191827 and KB3191847, then run Windows Update.

    Thanks OUGRAD

I downloaded KB4014984 and KB4014988 as instructed, each containing 4 KBs, but one was duplicated, so I ended up with 7 instead of 8. The one duplicated was KB3078601.

Crikey, you'd think MS would at least get the final update right !

I will now start installing them, but I'm not counting on it going smoothly.

Several KBs have failed recently  and still won't process successfully after repeated tries..

    Merv
