Display Dock doesn't appear in Gadgets on my Lumia 950, and I can't updated the dock with latest firmware. How do I fix this?

2016-06-24T07:57:42+00:00 All - the new Gadget app is out now (I am on Insider Fast Ring), and I was able to update my Display Dock from v3 to v4 without any issues.
can confirm this. With RS1 build 10.0.14372.0 the gadgets app is working the way it should.

I know this is frustrating. It has been tough to get this fix passing our internal tests. Last month we realized we needed to do some re-work on it, and I just got word today that the revised fix was just released internally for testing. I am hopeful that it will pass and be released soon. We are pushing hard for this, and I'll update this thread as the situation progresses.
