    okay dude.... try to think about whats wrong with abyss .conf. ( as my friend biff says : think mcfly , think lololol just kidding )

    if <root>

    C:\Abyss Web Server

    </root>

    then you must rename C:\abyss folder to C:\Abyss Web Server.

    thats why you cant enable server. try again and tell me what happens

    right:

    # ::1             localhost

    ( there must be nothing inside this space)

    127.0.0.1 resources.zune.net

    wrong:

    # ::1             localhost

    127.0.0.1 resources.zune.net.

    i suggest you to use my hosts file (included in rar )

    this is the very same way my hosts file looks like:

    Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.

    This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

    This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

    entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

    be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

    The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

    space.

    Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual

    lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.

    For example:

         102.54.94.97     rhino.acme.com          # source server

          38.25.63.10     x.acme.com              # x client host

    localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.

    127.0.0.1       localhost

    ::1             localhost

    unchecky_begin

    These rules were added by the Unchecky program in order to block advertising software modules

    unchecky_end

    127.0.0.1 resources.zune.net

    if ya notice 127... resources its not between ::1 . localhost and # unchecky begin

    as i said before, dumb proof  .... offline zune eruil edit.rar contains inside hosts file ( just copy and paste in c: windows / system32 / drivers/ etc as administrators. copy and paste abyss web server folder to c: and abyss.conf

    <root>

    C:\Abyss Web Server

    </root>

    thats it . then double click on abysws .exe . on hidden icons on desktop yalll be able to see a abyss windows with running 127.0.0.1:9999
