Can anyone help me with wlm error code 0x8007007A? I get this message whenever I try to send an email. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

error code 0x8007007A

I'm sorry that no satisfactory explanation of this error or resolution for it has been posted in this thread despite its age. This is most likely because the error is program-specific and independent of the operating system, so the question should have been asked in the program forum, not the one for a particular version of Windows. The original poster wasn't to know this, of course, but the moderators involved should have moved the question to the right place.

This error arises because you tried to send a message including a photo album. This feature no longer works as a result of changes at OneDrive, where the photo album would have been stored had the changes not taken place. This means that the message is now stuck in your outbox and may be preventing subsequent messages from being sent. The outbox is below the account folders in the folder pane:

Remove any unsent messages from the outbox, then compose a simple test message with a unique subject and send it to yourself. Post any new error message in your reply.

The error has nothing to do with the account being used to send messages, so removing and re-adding this account will have no effect on it. Nor will repairing the installation, which ensures that all the program files are present and correct. There's nothing in the error message to suggest that there was anything wrong with them in the first place.

    Thank you Microsoft!  How wonderful is it that you are always coming up with these amazing updates that make your customers' lives so much more convenient!  Something that has been working perfectly well now suddenly no longer works thanks to your thoughtful updates.  I'm sure most of your loyal customers don't even appreciate all the time and effort you put into making our daily lives so much more convenient by providing these innovative improvements to your products that we, in our ignorance about what is best for us, haven't even asked for.  How wonderful is that!

    Hello, Just started getting this error message 6 days ago. My IT girl found that the whole thing is connected to a Microsoft update which results in Live Mail users no longer having the ability to send photos in an "album", but instead, you need to send them as an "attachment". In my case, the problem was initiated by an email containing pictures. Once we found and deleted the offending email.....all other emails waiting to go in the Outbox could be sent. Before finding the answer..... we did check out an internet based email account which I have with Bell Webmail, ( it is supposed to be the same for all web based emails, such as Yahoo, Hotmail, or Gmail ) and I could send and receive anything. It works great but the one draw back is that because it is web based, you only have access while connected to the internet. If you don't need to access your email while off line, it may be worth your time to take a look. Hope this helps. Kind regards.
