For weeks now keep getting the message:

"Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.213.5087.0) - Error 0x80070643"

While the computer seems to run ok, in the mean time I cannot update windows 10...

    Yes, after running it and seeing a "problem fixed" message I got my hopes up.

    However when I tried to update again, the message on windows update still is:

    "There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

    • Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.213.5125.0) - Error 0x80070643"

    Firstly, after running the troubleshooter, did you manage to install other updates?

    Open start and search for Windows Defender and open it and then click on update tab and try run update manually and check whether it works.

    Open start and search for Feedback and open Feedback App and report this issue.

    i did got in to the Windows Defender and scroll down and pressed (Use Windows Defender) and it brings me to another tab. And theres 3 options Home, Update and History. I clicked Update and theres a pop up saying that Virus and spyware definitions couldn't be updated. Help me please. Im running an old mother board. but i used it for gaming. Dh55tc intel.
