I have a media purchasing dilemma. I am trying to decide how I will purchase movies going forward. I have an iPhone 6 Plus, but I love the idea of using my XBOX as a media center. Is it possible to watch movies that I purchase from the Microsoft Store on my XBOX One on my iPhone? Is there a Microsoft player or app that will enable me to access my Microsoft purchased movies on my iPhone? Or will I be limited to watching it ONLY on my XBOX One?
If I'm limited to watching only on my XBOX One, then I won't use my XBOX as media center. I'll just get an Apple TV because I'd like to be able to take my purchased content with me everywhere. Any help and insight will be much appreciated.

2017-05-14T22:53:47+00:00 I'm going to go back to itunes to buy movies. There you can view movies on any platform. Having movies you purchase available to be used on any device would make batter logic. Microsoft loosing a movie customer. Smh...

Why can i watch movies i purchased on itunes on my pc but i cant watch movies i purchased from microsoft on my iphone or ipad? Why is there no movies and tv app for ios or android? 2017-05-13T03:46:23+00:00 Well technically you can but it takes a little effort and setup. You can download the teamviewer app on your phone and download the teamviewer program on you PC. Set up teamviewer so you can take remote control with the password entered on your PC and the. You can watch everything on your computer through teamviewer. For better functionality though you can also pirchase the product.

2017-01-22T04:12:59+00:00 I faced a similiar problem. Amazon video is compatible with most devices. However the amazon app on xbox does not allow you to make purchases or preview new movies. It does allow you to play your purchased movies from Amazon. My work around is to use the microsoft movies and tv to decided what to buy then purchase the movie on the amazon app on my phone and watch it from my video library within the amazon app on xbox one, iphone, android, pc, or fire tablet.
Amazon video app is not available for windows phones....one of the reasons i don't use them anymore. Windows phones, imho, have the best OS but the app gap is just too big.
