Lumia 950XL 5ghz Wifi issue

So I have found when using my 5Ghz N network the phone will lose all WiFi networking.   On first use, it will connect up OK.  But let it sit and come back to it, it will have lost the WiFi network and the ability to see any other WiFi network with "no networks found".  Only a phone reboot will fix it until it happens again.

So far I've experienced it on my Linksys E8350 (supposed AC2400 and MIMO which the 950XL claims to support).  My Wifi router is set for Wireless A or N on 5Ghz, while it can do N, B, or G on 2.4

My workaround is to  only connect to the 2.4Ghz WiFi at this point. 

Anyone else experiencing complete WiFi radio failure like this?

    I had this issue with my Dual Sim Nokia Lumia 950. The 5.0ghz wireless would work then disconnect and disappear and no longer be an option to connect to. I fixed this by downloading the windows device recovery tool and updating the firmware on the phone that way. Just follow the instructions and update to the latest firmware VIA the tool with the phone connected to your computer. It worked well for me so far.

    I just received my 950 today, and once all the updates were on I too noticed I was connected to 2.5 ghz wireless and only getting a speed of 6-10mb dload on a 220mb connection, I switched to 5ghz only on the router and the 950 connected but after numerous speed tests it showed a dload speed of 0mb.

    I tried what someone said on here regarding turning on Bluetooth and my dload speed connected to 5ghz went to 100mb dload, not the full speed but still better than nothing.

    why on earth enabling Bluetooth affects wifi speed only ms know...

    I just hope they release an update sooner rather than later as this is pretty poor since the problem has been ongoing for quite some time now
