Windows 10 Photos App - no Outlook Share option??

Found this thread as my cousin has many photos stored in Picasa and wants to share them via Outlook 365. Well can't do apparently as Picasa is a 32bit app and Outlook is 64bit. Thinking there would be no integration problem using the Windows 10 native program called Photos, I investigated and now can add my voice to the chorus. Why can Photos only share with Mail and not Outlook 365. Microsoft, this thread has been open for 4 years. At least tell us why Outlook isn't available to share.  Unbelievable!

I manage a corporate Windows environment and we're still appalled by WIndows 10 lack of features and control as seen in Windows 7. It's clear that Microsoft is trying to do too much with 1 OS and like Apple, they are trying to tell users how to use a computer, not making a product that allows them to do what they want.

This is ridiculous that we have to resort to a program that was released back in the Windows NT days so that we can get basic functionality out of the OS that Microsoft is forcing us to migrate to. Complete BS and I would be embarrassed if I were Microsoft and that's the public canned response on a public discussion board.

Absolutely agree, this has to be addressed by Microsoft and implemented asap!

There are loads of people who want this very basic functionality. Yet, if you search on the subject, despite the requests going back ages, the response from Microsoft is in the range from ludicrous (reset your whole PC) to you are only a customer, why would we want to meet your needs, obvious though they may be.

This is an example of the blindingly obvious in functionality terms. If you live in Outlook desktop you want to share using Outlook desktop. Not some cut down mail program which, if you enable it with your accounts, will clutter up your storage with second copies of your messages.

In my naivety I used to think that a company provided forums (for a) such as this to not only enable self help but also to pick up and respond to user needs. How wrong can one be? The people in Redmond appear to be too busy training themselves to shoot their own feet to bother with mere users.

In my opinion, this mess is the legacy that Steve Ballmer has left, a place where divisions don't work together, everyone is out for themselves, and the user suffers.  I guess I'm glad he is gone and this new guy is there to reinvigorate a once-great company.  I know it will take some time.
