adriana......your mutual funds, which I sometimes sell has 3 places, but you round off at 2 places which results in an inaccurate amount of the sale.   The old portfolio mgr. would allow 3 places, but the new one does not.

Totally agree.  Nothing works properly.  You can't even alphabetize the stocks so they will stay that way.

Can't customize the columns.  Takes forever to find the cost basis.  It jus isn't nearly as good. BK

Hello MSN Money Portfolio Manager users,

You may have noticed the alert on the old PM page saying that it will be shut down on Dec 22. We are aware that the page was down for several days and users were unable to access their data but the page has been reinstated and users should be able to access their portfolios again. Users should try to migrate their data to the new MSN Money Portfolio/Watchlist before the above date to avoid losing data. Please follow the steps located under How do I import my old lists?

NOTE: You can only import into a Watchlist that has fewer than 250 items. Attempts to re-import lists with more than 250 items will fail. You may want to shrink the size of your existing Watchlist or import into a newly created Watchlist.

If you recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and did not receive all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data, please follow the steps on this article.

If you do not wish to migrate to the new Money Watchlist/Portfolio, you may export your data into an Excel spreadsheet by clicking on Print Portfolio. A table of the data is displayed, select the table (CTRL+A), copy (CTRL+C) and then paste it (CTRL+V) into Excel.

Hi Adriana, I finally was able to transfer my old Portfolio to the new interface.  I have a few questions: (1) Now how can I export to Excel? (2) How can I configure the columns as we did before by dragging them where we wanted them? (3) How can I add more than 2 digits (in shares and in prices) as we could before? (3) In the Transactions tab, how could I control the number of lines I wish to see, since we can only see 25 at a time right now?  Thanks

I have been trying to import my files from portfolio manager for over 2 weeks. can not get in and if i go to the new watch list it never gives me an option to import my files. I quess I have just lost all of my info. Very unhappy with Microsoft.
