all updates are installed which previously were showing failed.
Windows defender keep asking to update every 2nd day....

Hi
windows defender is keep asking to update it every 2nd day, action centre displays the notification about out of date windows defender, when i open it windows defender completes the update as normally and than the other day it appears again.
any solutions to this??

Has a Norton application or a McAfee application EVER been installed on the computer since you bought it?
Did a Norton free-trial or a McAfee free-trial [PICK ONE] come preinstalled on the computer when you bought it? (Doesn't matter if you never used or Activated it.)

2015-06-27T14:45:41+00:00 That's an awful lot of failed updates on the 13th of June.
Can you check for an install Windows Updates again after a reboot and see if these install? If they fail, please open each and note the error received.

2015-06-23T02:43:29+00:00 Can you tell me what time zone you are in? The last post you made shows you posted at 7:55AM. I am in EDT, so that's my time. Your screen capture shows that you updated at 4:45 PM.
I assume you are 9 hours ahead of EDT based on the above.
It seems strange that you are getting a alert for definitions that are 2 days old. Can you open Windows Update History and tell me if you see any errors listed for Defender definition files?
