Windows update KB3004394 issues

Windows update KB3004394  causes the following issues on my Windows 7 x64 Ultimate system:

All MMC functions (Event Viewer, etc.) now require Administrator action, although in an Administrator account.

Windows Defender service will not start

The Windows Defender Service Terminated with the following error

%%-2147023113

Removing it  returns the system to normal.

Anyone else experience this?

    go to tweaking.com and install the free software. This fixed all my problems!

    Error messages:

    KB3024777  3712 (just 3712 , not 80073712 )

    KB3004394  80073712(This may be my own fault.I deleted the backup of service pack on December 12)

    I'll take a small wager that only those with one or more third-party browsers installed have trouble with this update, and that those who don't have trouble are true-blue IE users.

    I was totally unaffected by KB3004394 and I have Firefox and Chrome installed. If you took a wager I hope it was a small one :)

    I'll take a small wager that only those with one or more third-party browsers installed have trouble with this update, and that those who don't have trouble are true-blue IE users.

    I have six third-party browsers installed, but all I had a problem with is Virtualbox not being able to load any of my VM's. I was also able to remove the specific KB3004394 update easily through the control panel's "view installed updates" screen (this was the morning after, so long before the uninstaller-update was released), and after a reboot all was as it was before.

    I have not done the "uninstaller-update" because, indeed, if it's fixed, don't break it :) So can't say much about that.
