Problem with Windows 10 & Minesweeper Adventure

I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1. I've played Minesweeper Adventure & Treasure Hunt numerous times when I had Windows 8.1 with no difficulty. Now that I've upgraded to Windows 10, the screen is blacked off to the right. The game board that is covered up by the black screen will move to a point and then stop. Arrow buttons will not move the screen like they did in Windows 8.1. At no point is the entire level of the game able to be seen like it was seen in Windows 8.1.

I haven't checked to see if it happens in other games.

Does anyone know what might be wrong or how to fix it?

my mouse wheel doesn't zoom it just scrolls, and I am playing on a desktop computer, no pinching.

There's no zoom button, but you can zoom using your mouse wheel or using pinch to zoom on your track pad...

Here's the screen capture.

Zooming in and out doesn't work for me....nor should it be a workaround to be able to play a game

If you use the pinch function on the touch pad to zoom in and out.
