Halo Combat Evolved Windows 10

I just installed Windows 10. I was using Windows 8.1. I've run Halo Combat Evolved on 8.1. Now, when I try to start Halo in 10 nothing happens, no messages or anything. I've updated my display driver to the latest, still nothing. I also have Halo 2 and that works fine. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

    by installing microsoft's newest patch for halopc, you can play this game on windows 10

    Hi my name is Jason. I've already found out what this issue is? It has to do with newer graphics drivers. Especially if you are running Halo Combat Evolved on a newer PC. You can run the compatibility mode, update drivers until **** freezes over. It still won't work! I should know because I've just installed this game tonight 12/20/2015 on a new laptop with an i5 processor running internal Intel HD graphics and it does not work. So it is a combination of graphics driver and hardware compatibility issue in which in the case Microsoft needs to come up with an update hardware compatibility fix! It runs great on an old Pentium 4! So Microsoft Please Help!!!

    I downloaded a patch from Bungie from 2014, and now Halo Combat Evolved works on my Windows 10 computer

    best choice... IMAC and done with windows.  OSX is a real operating system.  Windows is junk.

    I need help

    I own a physical copy of the game Halo: Combat Evolved and it ran fine with Windows 8

    however, It refused to work after upgrading to Windows 10, "Please login with administrator privileges and try again"

    Now I tried Restarting, Reinstalling, and following your advice on switching compatibility and nothing work.

    Am I just out of luck for life, or will Microsoft ever plan on patching this in the near future?
