I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.

I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.

Some advice about this?

Try this:

  1. Uninstall KB3045999
  2. It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
  3. Install KB3022345
  4. Restart Windows
  5. Install KB3045999
  6. Restart Windows

This worked for me.  Good Luck.

Folks, we all need to look very carefully at the issues that this update has caused on our systems.

I have followed all the processes and procedures that have been put in these posts and I now find that I have two corruptions on my system. These are:-

    AutoAnalysis::

    CORRUPT:  C:\WINDOWS\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-u..ed-telemetry-client_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.17807_none_34ec27432242ab0d\utc.app.json

    CORRUPT:  C:\WINDOWS\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-u..ed-telemetry-client_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.17807_none_34ec27432242ab0d\telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json

These relate to the patch that we have been having issues with.

I have still not seen any official statement from Microsoft with regard to the issues that they have created with the April version of the patch and subsequent re-release in May.

Come of Moderators / Microsoft admit that you got it very wrong in April and tell us how we can fix the corruptions that you have caused on our systems.

    Regards

Yes it works Great.  The issue is solved.

I also got an error 800F0922 with KB3022345 update and it work fine by uninstalling KB3045999, no restarting, then following the process of DA-Rotty.

    Thank you!

Well, after all the comments and remarks, which I totally could not keep up with all the advice, so I left it as a  load fail.  My feelings were to leave it alone as after all it was only a  optional choice. Yes Mike is correct as I saw a new one (KB3022345) in a group and all were  loaded successfully. May be some are seeing the new copy still failing because of advice of removing another optional one to reload the failed one and then restoring the original (KB3022345) failure. They well may now loaded updates out of order, don't really know, just thinking that windows has it right now with a new rewritten (KB3022345).  I do not think I have any corrupted files due to first (KB3022345), where a previously reply indicated that it was corrupting some files. My older problem version  (KB3022345) was loaded earlier but failed so was never bought into my system until now with the new updated version. As said all appears the new  (KB3022345) has loaded without any problems and pc appears to be working without any errors.

    William.
