I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.

I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.

Some advice about this?

Try this:

  1. Uninstall KB3045999
  2. It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
  3. Install KB3022345
  4. Restart Windows
  5. Install KB3045999
  6. Restart Windows

This worked for me.  Good Luck.

Come on Microsoft / Moderators please give us a formal statement on how to fix this issue and why you have now withdrawn the patch KB3022345.

I'm guessing the KB you mean is KB3044374 as that makes more sense than the KB you list.

    3044374

Indeed, Microsoft seems to have patch KB3022345 removed from Windows Update.

I suppose a new patch will be released in due time.

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Hi Ravinath P,

I did not get the PM.... I have tried the uninstall and not restart of kb3045999 and then install KB3022345 and restart which worked OK both are now installed...... However before I did this I check to see what had been installed from the 22 updates and 3038314, 3044374, 3045685, 3042553, 30457755, 3042085, 3045999...states waiting for restart...On doing the above and checking again they are all still there pending restart including the 3045999, but as been installed OK with the above fix...

Is there another fix to get these pending updates installed correctly???

    Thx Len
