Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10

Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10?  There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC.  I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1.  So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10.  Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this.  Thx everyone.

Sync Center is still there in Windows 10 (Windows key + X > click Control Panel)

sorry but sync centre is not the same as WMDC.

certainly when using wm6.5. devices that rely on Active sync.

O.k. I managed to add the registry keys and the PC with win10 sees and acknowledges the PPC and they start the synchronization process but then I get an error and sadly the process stops here. On a dual boot win7 synchronising is no problem at all.

    Hello Chris,

Thanks I tried it and it did not seem to do anything.

Did you try it with a PPC / WM 5 or WM 6 device?

I am using WMDC with and without compatibility mode but it cannot even be bothered to open when a PPC is connected or when it is started manually.

When trying to enter these two keys in command prompt and power shell, I get ACCESS DENIED. How do I get around that?
