Nokia PC Suite does not work on Windows 10

Hi,

i have a cellphone  Nokia 6300 and Nokia PC Suite does not work on Windows 10 32-bit.

When i connect cellphone and PC via USB cable,PC doesn't recognize it at all.

From another side,PC Suite works fine on Windows 7 32-bit.

PC Suite version is 7.1.180.94. I have tried another version too ( 3.8.54 ) but it's the same thing.

Use Mass memory or Media transfer mode instead of the default Nokia Suite USB mode. Change the mode in the phone menu Settings > Connectivity > USB. This will let you copy files between the phone and Windows 10.

If you want to sync data to Nokia Suite, try connecting the phone and Windows 10 via the Bluetooth connection instead of USB (if Bluetooth is supported by your PC). If the Bluetooth connection is properly established, you can use it for connecting and syncing your phone with Nokia Suite.

    Nice to see that this thread still is alive! 

    I can see that the topic contains a number of deleted messages and therefore is hard to follow. Comments may be misleading.

    I am running rhe Microsoft Windows 10 x64 together with Nokia Suite 3.8.54 and a Nokia E61i cell phone. It works, but the cable connection is somewhat unstable. However, it works although I cannot manage MMS messages well, SMS are okay.

    The development process seens to be somewhat incomplete due to the Microsoft-Nokia affair in 2012-2013 (Steve Ballmer):

    Now the Nokia seems to be back with new cell phones. But the old affair concept and the products was sold to the Microsoft and collapsaed,

    Therefore the nowadays situation is somewhat tricky and no vendor warranties exists. But if you are happy you can find a way which works! 

    Myself, I would appreciate new products and software under regular warranties from a serious vendor!

    See above - disable the phone as a modem in W10.

    Works for N8 and IIRC N79, so probably should work for a 6300.

    Don't know I am afraid.

    Nokia Suite was downloaded onto W8.1Pro, which updated [itself] to W10 two years ago.  Ditto on my W7 net book.

    Microsoft has essentially ended support for Nokia phones and disabled features (e.g. Skype, which was disabled in December 2014 and ceased to be available for download).  My work around was to get an Android phone from Samsung.
