I think it is really fake. I known people who received the same card from  buying the laptop. Sad

    • I recently purchased an HPStreamBook 11. The link provided does not work. "web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server". If the offer is valid until December 2015, I'd like to redeem the offer.

Here are some snippets of the conversations I had with online support.

As you will see, they were VERY unhelpful (half the time didnt read what I wrote)

I got transferred 3 times only for the last person to tell me to try only solution is to call HP after I already had.

Worst customer service ever. Here are highlights of the last 2 people I talked with.

    Natasha S: at 10:15:58:

The promotion may have ended looking into this for you now.

    Natasha S: at 10:20:53:

I'm showing that it has ended and is no longer available

    Natasha S: at 10:21:42:

Our site is Microsoft. Hp is a different manufacture.

(DEFLECTING BLAME. NO EXPIRATION DATE ON CARD EITHER!!)

    Natasha S: at 10:23:32:

Please click here for Hp stream 13

    Natasha S: at 10:23:36:

    That offer isn't on there.

(BUT IT IS ON THERE!!! STRAIGHT LIE! THINKS IM STUPID!!)

(THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I GET TRANSFERRED TO SOMEONE ELSE)

    Natasha S: at 10:27:18:

Let me get you to our customer specialist to further assist you with this.

    info: at 10:27:28:

Please wait while I transfer the chat to the appropriate group.

    Johanna: at 10:44:34:

Please call  our 1 800 6427676 And get connected with HP to get a better assistance

    You: at 10:45:28:

wow. what an incredible waste of time. it took 3 microsoft employees to waste hours of my time to send me a telephone number to HP?? it is YOUR website thats the issue. not HP. it is clearly MICROSOFT.com/hpstream. and i have actualyl already contacted HP and they told me to contact you guys!! i called HP first, they said its a MICROSOFT issue. microsoft gives out the 25 gift card. not HP. you guys are NOT committed to helping. you guys are committed to give me the run around

(NOW COMES THE BEST PART! SHE TELLS ME TO GO BACK TO THE MICROSOFT HP WEBSITE TO CONTACT SUPPORT!!!)

    Johanna: at 10:53:13:

Kindly go back to the webite www.microsoft.com/HPStream  and try to check if there is a contact support

    Johanna: at 10:53:36:

Or a WEB FORM letter to fill out

    You: at 10:53:43:

have you been reading anything I have written?? there is a 502 error on the screen. it wont let me access the page. how am i supposed to find contact support? i wouldve done that first if something was there

    Johanna: at 10:54:48:

If that is the issue that will be issue from the HP

    Johanna: at 10:55:44:

You should be able to access the Website

    Johanna: at 11:01:06:

It's a known issue and the we are providing the basic trouble shooting and still did not work we will refer them to HP  to get issue resolced

    Johanna: at 11:04:29:

We know that there are some issues like this if the basic trouble shooting is not applicable you need to be referred to the expert

    Johanna: at 11:04:49:

That is why I'm reffering you to HP

    Johanna: at 11:05:06:

    And speak with the expert

(FIRST THEY DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS AN ISSUE. NOW AFTER I GET ANGRY, SHE TELLS ME ITS A KNOWN ISSUE!! hahahaha. THEN SHE TELLS ME HP ARE THE EXPERTS!!)

STAY AWAY FROM THEIR ONLINE SUPPORT!! They will refuse to help you. And waste hours of your life pretending to do something behind their keyboard.

I receive the following error when I go to www.microsoft.com/HPStream

502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.

There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server

I am using Chrome browser. I saw in another reply to try commerce.microsoft.com/gifting and I tried that but it required a 25 digit code. The Gift Card I received with my new HP Stream does not have a 25 digit code.

Apparently, from the multitude of people that are unable to redeem this is just a scam?! Very dissappointed in HP.
