Groove does not display any Album or Artist Art

Lol,I remember those pre-smartphone days when I had an iPod, and had to use iTunes; shitt*est program ever! It screwed up the tags in my entire music collection TWICE - I had to go through every song to fix it! This was actually the main reason I spurned the iPhone back in 2007...

I'm not going through that exercise again; I'll stick with a player that works, until they get Groove to an acceptable level.

Thanks for the effort, but I don't store my music on OneDrive; I keep it on my sd card... But you're basically saying I should re-tag all my music? A bit overwhelming since I have 64 gb worth of songs!

I've been battling with Groove for the last few weeks and have had a similar issue with album art not displaying, or displaying old art even after wiping the tags and starting from fresh using mp3tag.

The solution I found was to do the following, I'm assuming this is music that you're storing in OneDrive and appears in Groove under the filter "On OneDrive":

1. Take a copy of the album folder from OneDrive to your local machine.
2. In Groove, right click the album and delete it, make sure it deletes from the OneDrive folder and your local synced version.
3. Update the tags in mp3tag to your liking. Personally I select all files and do a "Tag Cut" then "Tag Paste" to force a re-write of all of them.
4. Copy the updated folder back into OneDrive.
5. Wait for it to sync up again and for the new album to appear back in Groove.

It's a bit of a pain but so far it seems to work for me.

All my music is in mp3 format as well, with metadata edited in Mp3Tag... I had album art in XBox Music on W8 and 8.1 just fine but nothing in Groove.

Edit: By the way, this comments section really kills my Lumia 1520. There's a two second delay for each letter or digit I enter, so by the time I'm done with a sentence, the text on the screen is several words late. And fixing spelling errors is a complete nightmare, as the cursor is all over the place! I managed to ride from one train station to the next in the time it took it to finish the last sentence after I stopped typing!!! Just before, it actually crashed the phone!
