Game not working on Windows 10

I installed a game yesterday and had to uninstall it because it would just not work. I tried everything. Frist, it would say I had to be an administrator for it to run, so I ran it as an administrator, but then it just wouldn't start. So, I ran the technical compatibility troubleshoot and tried every setting they recommended and it won't start or open at all. It doesn't even try to start. The run as administrator permission box opens and I click ok and then nothing happens. It still won't work. Any fixes for this? It worked before on windows 7 and then I upgraded to windows 10 and now nothing.

    I have just got this problem (6/12/2016). no games from MS appear to fully load .  Solitaire and Majohng affected.

    1. Please share why you are running a compatibility check on the games that you mentioned. We would like to know if this is due to any issues that you experience with the games.
    2. If you are experiencing issues with the games, please provide the details. A screenshot or an error message will help.

    I have the full set of windows games downloaded from the windows shop. Spider solitaire, minesweeper, solitaire, mine sweeper and more. All show on the menu. Right clicking on them just returns me to the home screen. No options for compatibility at all. Ran fine on 7 and 8.1 so why no longer.

    They all worked until the last major update about 6 weeks ago.

    Sorry Microsoft, but when you provide so called upgrades that kill programs, then its not good enough.

    Thank you, BossDweeb!  We have come to the conclusion "this is fault of the DRM Blocking malware MS has built into Win 10." 

    Sometimes updating graphics drivers helps; sometimes rolling back to older drivers helps.  This has zilch to do with the issues those of who have hundreds of dollars of useless games on CD and DVD now.  And if you are like me and live out in the sticks, downloaded games are not the answer on an internet connection that MIGHT hit 1.7 Mb per second before I am throttled back to 90 Kb per second.

    Regardless of Anant Service suggestions that reinstalling graphics drivers is some gaming panacea ... It's not.

    The issued faced by the OP has nothing to do with graphics drivers or running as administrator.

    If your problems are with launching disk based games the source of the issue is the DRM Blocking malware

    MS has built into Win10. I have full details in my post at  --this thread--

    • If this is not your issue you would do better to start your own thread and give full details of what is, or is not

    happening. Include any error messages. Also list the fixes you have already tried.

    Include the brand and model graphics processor and cpu brand and model your machine uses,  and which

    game or games you are having problems with.
