Mouse and keyboard input not working after windows 10 upgrade from windows 7.
I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

2015-09-04T07:17:30+00:00 Hi All,
I had the same issue with ASUS motherboard and USB ports.
I managed to get rid of this issue by using PS/2 mouse and keyboard to login in. I got a hint from some forum that deleting registry entries referencing to AI charger would help. So I used regedit and used Find to search for "aich*" entries and deleted or disabled them one by one. Then I checked the startup services for AI charger related stuff and disabled/deleted those. For some reason AI charger didn't show up in the installed programs list so I couldn't uninstall it normally. So, I deleted all AI charger related files and used CCleaner to clear registry and the rebooted. Now everything is working fine.

2015-09-04T00:32:35+00:00 Hey folks,
My issue turned out to be an issue with the need to install the Intel Chipset Drivers for my motherboard. Thankfully, I had it saved on my hard drive, so that remedied my situation. I had to reset things again today, because of another registry cleaning program I used this morning that caused the same issue.
I won't be using Auslogics Registry Cleaner or Advanced Uninstaller Pro anytime soon...

2015-09-03T22:56:24+00:00 Hi folks,
My Win 7 to Win 10 upgrade failed for the 2nd time today, so I never got a chance to check whether Win 10 will work with Msft Keyboard/Mouse. And I have wasted more than enough time to deal with this decimal point upgrade from Win 7. In 6 months or so, I will try again after some of the bugs are worked out

2015-09-03T16:28:52+00:00 Could I ask you to also file a feedback bug using repro mode (and attach this screen shot as well) as outline here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/usbcoreblog/archive/2015/08/17/filing-usb-feedback-with-repro-mode-in-windows-10.aspx
Repro mode will gather logs that will allow us to investigate this issue. When you take the repro can you connect both the non-working keyboard as well as a working USB device? Please then reply back to this thread with the title of your feedback.
