Windows Defender Error Code: 0x80073afc

Hi, I receive this error code when i try to open Windows Defender and it says: An error as occurred, in the program during initialization. If this problem continues, please contact your system administrator. Error code 0x80073afc. And in the Action Center it says that Windows Defender is turned off.

Please help!

    No I never ran the Norton Removal Tool and/or or the McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool.

    And the definitions are:

    Definitions created on: 2015-03-27 at 9:53 AM

    Definitions last updated: 2015-03-27 at 5:22 PM

    Virus definition version: 1.195.564.0

    Spyware definition version: 1.195.564.0

    An error has occurred...Error code 0x80073afc. And in the Action Center it says that Windows Defender is turned off.

    Are you still getting the 0x80073afc error?

    Does Action Center still say that Windows Defender is turned off?
