Will Money Sunset work on Windows 10? or when will Money be relaunched?

As a long term user of Microsoft Money and now Money Sunset Delux I am keen to learn if the programme will still work on the imending Windows 10? I would be happy to resume paying for Money, as for me, this is the 'Killer App' which keeps me on the Windows platform. Does anyone esle out there still use Money? How can we get this fantastic Personnal Finance software continued? or, Have you found a realisticly alternative application?

Hi Simon

I am back from a work trip, and I played around with a few settings.  I can now get Money Sunset Edition to run in the Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9879.

I changed the Compatibility settings:

    Hi Peter

    I have been running Money without compatibility settings in the most recent build (10049 from memory - I'm in the Slow Ring).  I have not had any issues, so I'm afraid I can't offer any suggestions other than to play around with the Compatibility Settings.

    I did a fresh install of this latest version, so that might have something to do with it.

    Anyway, good luck!  I really miss Money.  Wish they'd ressurrect it and develop a version that could access my money file from the could on my phone!  I can dream :)

    Hi Nick,

    Like you, I was able to get this running in 9879, but in the two builds (10049 is most current) since, I get the crash to desktop every time even with compatibility mode. Are you running into the same?

    I downloaded Sunset Plus from Microsoft. Works fine, restored backup from old MS Money, life is good.
