As a long term user of Microsoft Money and now Money Sunset Delux I am keen to learn if the programme will still work on the imending Windows 10? I would be happy to resume paying for Money, as for me, this is the 'Killer App' which keeps me on the Windows platform. Does anyone esle out there still use Money? How can we get this fantastic Personnal Finance software continued? or, Have you found a realisticly alternative application?

Hi Simon

I am back from a work trip, and I played around with a few settings.  I can now get Money Sunset Edition to run in the Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9879.

I changed the Compatibility settings:

Good luck!

Nick

I don't have that in my registry either.

Do you possibly have 32-bit Windows? Then it wouldn't be in SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node... but in SOFTWARE...

And make sure that "9.11.10240.16384" is the current value, which should be changed to be between 9.11.10240.0 and 9.11.10240.9999.

I would rather forego win 10 than loose MS MONEY SUNSET.

Agreed (with karnack1) as I've been using Money since its inception (back in Windows 95?) and will not give it up for Windows 10. I'm running it on Windows 8.1 Pro in an XP-compatibility mode but not sure about running it on Windows 10...

I am currently testing Money Pro on ny iPad & iPhone. It looks pretty good to me, but will mean dropping Windows altogether, as it only runs on a Mac. The fully integrated iPhone, iPad Apps are so good this may well do it for me if Microsoft dont fix Money soon.
