we have started rolling out a new software update for Lumia 535 (RM-1089) & Lumia 535 Dual SIM (RM-1090 & RM-1092) in selected countries.     the touchscreen issues cannot be addressed by updating the operation system, but with firmware updates. But obviously not firmware updates solely, because there are differrences regarding the operation behavior of the touchscreens of firmware versions in combination with different touch panel models.

    there is no official statement of Microsoft and I doubt that there ever will be any. . The notice, that the newest firmware for single SIM 535 devices (02060.00000.15053.2400x) enfolds its full impact solely on phones which have a built-in toch panel with the part number NOK/TOUCH PNL# CT2S1973-E TRULY´, is a consumer notice - not an official one.

    touch issue is not resolved by OTA software version

    I do not know if there is any way to figure it out by yourself. If you send it to service, they attach a listing with all replaced parts to the report.

    send it to service, if the update 02060.xxxxx does not improve the toch screen behavior.

    the new update works really well in combination with a new generation of touch panels, the NOK/TOUCH PNL# CT2S1973-E TRULY.

    with older panels like NOK/TOUCH PNL CT2C1553-V3-E TRULY the new firmware 02060.xxxxx didn't improve a lot.
