Know more about My Watchlist
Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ
You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

2015-01-15T05:22:47+00:00 My stuff is gone for good. The portfolio converter never worked - always got the "Whoops" screen with the promise that it will be fixed shortly, but they never fixed it. Now, no more "Whoops" - it's just gone. 20 years of history. Poof!
Major bummer.

Thanks MSFT! As if nobody in your group could find an easier way to make our data available...just wanted to make sure that your customers wouldn't leave the site? What a joke.

2015-01-07T20:34:09+00:00 Does microsoft even look at or reply to these issues?. What good is it to provide a service if it has no value?. I know its free, but at least you could have saved the money involved in implementing and maintain this new platform that is useless in my opinion. If it was not broke why fix it?
You could have also provided a transaction backup to excell in order to save our transactions in the old MSN portfolio manager.
I willl manually have to enter many years of transactions and determine a beginning of period summary on a new platform.
I will be wary of microsoft products and enhancements in the future.
Does the term " tabula rasa" resonate w/anyone besides me?

2015-01-07T10:03:17+00:00 Everyone agrees with you, and a lot of people have already manually entered their transactions into a new portfolio manager. I and others requested an excel file, but Microsoft never responded.
Yes, a real pain in the rear to have to re-enter all this data, but I'm so glad I spent that weekend copying transactions down before Microsoft deep-sixed PM. I'm almost back to a completely functional and relatively accurate portfolio manager on Morningstar.
