BH-940 Purity Pro wont charge anymore.

Have monster purity pro set that havent used for two years since had no charge problem. Tried with usb from computer and from socket with charger. No charge. Maybe 50 times replugged. Headset makes sounds when you plug in the charger. 

Well guess what!

Today after plugged it in to my playstation 4 pro with the ps4 usb chargers its charging and I can finally use it as it was supposed to be used. Must be some specific voltage and cable as people have mentioned before. Try from different sources.

From wallsocket nothing happens

From laptop usb red light comes and disappears.

From Ps4 it chargers normally keeping the redlight on.

Could not be happier.

Hello I have my Purity Pro from two years+ and today had this issue. I did not used them for a few months so the battery was probably dead. I attept to charge it but had this problem, had to leave so I let them conected anyway. when I come back, it was the same but I try to use them wired while charger conected. close them open them with or without the wire and with different chargers and after some time they live again and they say battery full! I think the battery is diying and in 2017 is probably impossible to fix it since I have also the play\pause button broken but hey, they come to live again! My advice, never let them rest for too long so the battery never runs out of energy and try that stuff randomly while conected to electricy and may got luck like me. thank god they still work since they are still my best headphones by far! good luck everyone!

Had the same problem too. Opened up the side which has the battery. Unsoldered the battery and force charged it a bit with lab power supply. 4.1v with 500ma current. Soldered the battery back and now it's working again.

I have binned the headphones, i had two sets of them and the others still ok, luckily just got a lovely set of bowers and wilkins p7 wireless which are much better made than the nokia, i do like the sound out of the nokia bh940 but the B&W P7 are better.

I've tried to change battery. I don't know if the technical service I contact was lack of knowledge regarding this device, but battery was removed and changed with no result. The technician said there is a problem with this microcircuit that can not be replaced so now I have a useless device what is a real pity because there is no support after all.

My suggestion is to be extremely careful with this device, if you change the battery and there is no result (by the way you can use any cellphone battery) it is supposed there is a problem with circuit.

I've had the nokia purity for quite sometime. Its been working great, but now its not charging. I've been facing this problem for about 2 weeks. When ever i charge my headset, the red light stays on for about 10 seconds, and then the light dissappers. At first i thought the battery was drained, so i left the headset on charge for about 3 hours. But with no results. The Noise Cancellation works when i plugin in the charger, but it gets turned off once i remover the charger.
