BH-940 Purity Pro wont charge anymore.

I recently purchased the Nokia Monster Purity Pro's in Aug 13 and have been charging them acording to the recommendations from the instruction booklet. Recently as I was wearing them the voice promtpted that my battery was low. I then charged, or thought I was charging them to use again. Once completed I put them on and I got the same message again. I tried the wall outlet, and computer, both have failed to charge the headphones.

           When I plug in the headphones the led indicator goes on for about 30 seconds then switches off, not sure if that indicates anything, I know they have a 12 month warranty on them and when trying to find contact details I get brought to this discussion forum. I am assuming that they want me to use this as a first stop. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

    Hey Mr. Vjegaraj,

    Sorry to tell u that there is no fix to this. my BH-940 with no play/pause button n mic not working for some time now (3-4 yrs).. but if plug it with wire.. still works.

    Does anyone know how to dismantle the earphone?

    Hi All,

    I still using BH-940 as my daily headphone. This is far the best Headphone I ever had and it's till working like charm. It's hod the battery like how it was on a first day.

    But unfortunately play/pause button and microphone stopped working for some unknown reason. 

    Do anyone had this issue before and anyone could advise me for a fix.

    Hello I have my Purity Pro from two years+ and today had this issue. I did not used them for a few months so the battery was probably dead. I attept to charge it but had this problem, had to leave so I let them conected anyway. when I come back, it was the same but I try to use them wired while charger conected. close them open them with or without the wire and with different chargers and after some time they live again and they say battery full! I think the battery is diying and in 2017 is probably impossible to fix it since I have also the play\pause button broken but hey, they come to live again! My advice, never let them rest for too long so the battery never runs out of energy and try that stuff randomly while conected to electricy and may got luck like me. thank god they still work since they are still my best headphones by far! good luck everyone!

    Hi Mark,

    Unfortunately nobody will be able to give you a proper solution for this problem. It seems to be a defective device that sooner or later will end broken.

    I have already tried to change some components like battery for instance with no result. It seems to be the small card attached to this headphone which has no replacement.

    My advice: send it as a gift to anyone who wants to use it as a corded headphone. Do not try to change charger or USB cable because you’ll be spending your time unnecessarily.

    Hi, ive got exactly the same problem, red led light comes on for a few seconds and will not charge, these are damned expensive headphones to suddenly have a problem like this with. Ive tried to do the factory reset on them( holding the play/pause button and the bluetooth pairing button for several seconds together) which has not worked. Im at a loss at what to do with them. There doesnt seem to be any help from nokia, how on earth are you meant to get this problem sorted? Im in the UK and there doesnt seem to be anyone to even send them back to for repair or new set?
