Photo Collage

No, I am not referring to Screensaver.  With Windows 8 on my new computer, it was a pleasant surprise that happened when I opened Photos.  There was an arrow that showed up at the bottom left of my screen, I believe it actually said "shuffle" and when I clicked it, my photos came up, covered the screen like a collage, different sizes, etc.  It was amazing.  Then, when I upgraded to 8.1, this option was no longer there.  I have done some research and seen this same situation from several others.  We did not do anything in Windows 8 to make this collage happen--it just happened, and it was great. Now it is gone.  Anything that can be done to bring this back would be appreciated.  I have started using the screensaver option since I lost the previous feature, but it is just not the same.  Thanks, Connie York

The feature you are referring to was not implemented in the new Windows 8.1 Photos app.  I have noted your request to bring this feature back and will bring it up with the product group.

I almost took 8.1 off for the same reason.  I loved the collage shuffle as well and really do not want to change it back to the old version.  Do you have a free app that would make it work the same way? Will I have to wait for the next upgrade or will it be a separate download soon so we wont have to wait?  This feature was a gift for the whole family as they walked by my laptop and would stop and look at photos we have not seen for years. Great feature, thank you for your time. Kimberly

please bring this back.. I used the computer screen in collage format whenever people were around or we had a party.. was always a talking point..  Cant stand the single view show.. I have 8000  pictures,, if they all pop up sequentially it would be another lifetime until I gat back up today.   This was a killer feature which made me so chuffed when I switched from my Mac to the PC... Now its been taken away... 

Dear Mr. Microsoft, Its nearly Christmas, the nights are dark, my work is long, my pictures looked great in collage, please can I have it back. Ps.  I have been very good switching back to a PC and would love an early present (and so would my family).  Here's hoping that there is a Santa at Microsoft somewhere.

I too desperately miss my the collage shuffle!  Can someone update us on the status?  Please bring it back!!
