Photo Collage

When I purchased my new computer it came with Windows 8. I was pleasantly surprised when my photos popped up on the desktop in a collage manner, sort of like a screensaver. When I upgraded to 8.1, this feature has gone away. I miss it and would love to have it back.  If anyone knows how to accomplish this, please reply!! Thanks.  Connie York

No, I am not referring to Screensaver.  With Windows 8 on my new computer, it was a pleasant surprise that happened when I opened Photos.  There was an arrow that showed up at the bottom left of my screen, I believe it actually said "shuffle" and when I clicked it, my photos came up, covered the screen like a collage, different sizes, etc.  It was amazing.  Then, when I upgraded to 8.1, this option was no longer there.  I have done some research and seen this same situation from several others.  We did not do anything in Windows 8 to make this collage happen--it just happened, and it was great. Now it is gone.  Anything that can be done to bring this back would be appreciated.  I have started using the screensaver option since I lost the previous feature, but it is just not the same.  Thanks, Connie York

The feature you are referring to was not implemented in the new Windows 8.1 Photos app.  I have noted your request to bring this feature back and will bring it up with the product group.

    You're posting in a thread that's more than two years old.  You will not receive a response from Microsoft by posting here, as this is a peer-to-peer community.  You're just spitting into the wind by complaining here.

    Hello

    I don't want this request to die....    This moving photo collage was one of the best things that was ever created and we want it back... Please Microsoft - hear us..

    The only way to be heard is to BOMBARD them with requests to bring it back....   Hopefully, everyone will send emails ... lots of them... every day until someone hears us..

    I can't imagine why you would want to keep something so good buried away ... it was awesome... Kudos to the inventor of that program.. please, please bring it back.... Give us the option.

    WE LOVED IT and can't find anything comparable.  

    At least send us emails that let us know why this can't happen and that you're listening.

    Well, it's been several years now and we can't seem to get an "solid" answer about our beloved Photo Collage APP...

    Is anybody listening?   Will you please tell us if we "will" or will not get this feature back soon?

    I know this is probably at the bottom of your list, but many of your users would really like to have it back... or at least have an answer that it's not going to happen...

    We're willing to buy it if  you'll just tell us where it might be available for purchase.

    Just curious, why was it removed??  Nothing has come close to replacing it.
