Hi,
I Have the same issue like others have. Upgraded from win8 to 8.1.
to bootup and get start all the service it takes minimum 5 mins.
Hard disk usage is 100% on start up. After 10-20 of time Hard disk usages comes down. then it becomes normal speed.
So, i have to wait 25 mins to use my system completely.
System Config:
i5 3.1GH, HDD 500GB, RAM 4G, Graphics Card : Intel HD 2GB, NVIDIA 2GB.
I increased virtual memory as well.
Still it is very slow.
I see lot of people are reported this issue. But none of the microsoft developers taking responsibility.
windows 8.1 upgrade size is 3.6GB, i don't see any improvement from 8 to 8.1 because of slowness.
you people are sleeping?
after upgrading to 8.1, i updated around 150MB of data through windows update. is that waste to update, since nothing is fixed?
Regards,
Vikram
I fixed my problem as did others that followed the suggestions in this thread. Have you read the complete thread and followed any of the submitted suggestions? Waiting for MS is a waste of time.
