My Nokia Lumia 1520 has the same mic related problem as the receiver for my call unable to hear my voice. Kindly send me the the Nokia Software Recovery Tool as I am based in India.

Hey,
I have a nokia lumia 1520 and Im having trouble making phone calls, people cant hear me talk, Only when I set it to handsfree people can hear me. Im pretty sure it has to do some with the noise cancelling, cancelling out my voice.
any software update to solve this issue?

2015-11-09T16:00:07+00:00 This is a common design fault with these phones - we have 2 in our house and both microphones failed within 6 months of purchase. One phone was sent for repair and the repaired microphone also failed after a further 7 months use. I suspect they used sub-standard components as they knew this model was to be discontinued. It doesn't make me very keen to shell out £500+ on the new Lumia 950xl. Get your act together Microsoft

ahhh, no wonder why they don't build flagship phones anymore. They just don't care about customers.

2015-09-30T23:18:49+00:00 I went to denim and now on to the W10Mobile early build and nothing is different.
I also took it to a repair shop (there is no Nokia Care in Ottawa) and they said they can open it and replace the mic but cannot promise that that will fix the problem because it could be the board.
