Nokia 1520 Microphone problems

I too have this issue. Ive replaced the microphone/USB board. It worked for day, then stopped. The interesting part, Ive take the phone apart several times. Each time I completely disconnect the battery and microphone connectors from the board, let it sit for a few minutes then put it all back together. Each time the microphone works for about a day, then cuts out.

Any response from a Ms or Nokia employee would be nice.

I have a nokia lumia 1520 and Im having trouble making phone calls, people cant hear me talk, Only when I set it to handsfree people can hear me. Im pretty sure it has to do some with the noise cancelling, cancelling out my voice.

any software update to solve this issue?

did you ever get this fixed? I'm having the exact same issue with my 1520

I'm having the same problems with the mic since updating to denim so convinced its a software problem. Are there any other software solutions out there short of dumping denim?

Yeah, this problem is getting annoying. It went away for one day and came right back without any indication as to what caused it. Unfortunately I have an unlocked international 1520 (rm-938) here in the US. Ive already had few folks run into the predicament of Nokia US not wanting to repair their phone because its an international version being used in the US. Nokia/Microsoft, do something! I have tons of Nokia products, but this one has turned me off the most. And impair the most for it out of all my phones.

Amazing. In the last 10 months have connected my 1520 to over half a dozen bluetooth devices and wired speakers and headsets with absolutely no mic issues whatsoever. I must be incredibly lucky in that respect.
