How can I disable the unsafe volume warning?

I usually have my laptop's system volume at 80% and plugged into speakers which I can adjust, but since updating to windows 8.1 I keep noticing that every time I turn my laptop on while plugged into the speakers it automatically lowers and limits my volume to about 40% and when I try to turn it up a large banner warns me that any higher might be unsafe for my ears asking am I sure I want to do this.

It's very annoying to get this every day, and I can't seem to find a way to disable the warning permanently.

    I used method number 2. It works perfectly. Make sure that after you click on "uninstall" you reply yes to the pop up that asks if you want to uninstall the software.

    I have a Samsung as well and was running into the 42% limit when I used my headphones. This worked for me as well. Thank You!

    This driver should  resolve problem not only with Samsung laptops, but with all Realtek sound cards

    I tried what you said, but I don't see the "RtkGUI" listed under my notifications.  I did upgrade to 8.1 on my Samsung,  not sure if that would of changed this screen or not.

    I turned off this switch before going from 8 to 8.1 (via store). And the switch is still there in 8.1 and still off. My device manager lists driver version 6.0.1.6865 on Samsung model NP680Z5E-X01US.

    This is a plain (purple) square named 'Settings' on my ATIV running 8.1. No need to fiddle with removing or rollback drivers

    Install older Sound driver:

    Windows 7(32bit,64bit) 6.0.1.6699 Sound(Audio) 2012.10.15

    Sorry, link doesn't work no longer. But if you want the latest realtek drivers without notification you need to search

    6.0.1.6699 drivers(probably realtek 273 drivers). Works on Windows 8 on Windows 10 i still have that issue and I'am serachinf now. Good luck
