Microsoft Picture It! Premium 10

I have been using Microsoft Picture It! Premium 10 (mpi10) with Windows XP for quite some time until just recently when I bought a new computer with Windows 8.1.  However, when I tried to install mpi10 on my new computer, I realized the two weren't compatible.

I really like mpi10, & I work with pictures quite often.  Question is... is there a way to make it compatible, or is there another photo editing software that it compares with, that is compatible with Windows 8.1, & that I can download from your site?

Hi,

Yes, as per the compatibility status on Windows Compatibility center is concerned, Microsoft Picture It is not compatible with Windows 8.1. Refer to the link to get the details:

However, in Windows 8.1 Operating System, you can use Windows Live Photo Gallery in place of Microsoft Picture It:

    Hi everyone!

    I have managed to install Picture it! 9 and 10 on the latest incarnation of Windows 10 without a hitch!

    It installs on 64bit and 32bit Windows but work perfectly only on 64bit.

    On 32bit, the Library part simply doesn't start, the Editor part starts and seems fully functional.

    I will investigate on this in the future.

    Hi everyone!

    I have managed to install Picture it! 7 / 9 / 10 on the latest incarnation of Windows 10 FCU 1709 without a hitch!

    It installs on 64bit and 32bit Windows.

    On a clean install of Windows 10 FCU 1709 the Library part doesn't start, but I have solved also this!

    EDIT:

    Found a new way to install without any patch!!!

    I was able to get a PictureIt software through a repair facility, but it is all in French
