I have been using Microsoft Picture It! Premium 10 (mpi10) with Windows XP for quite some time until just recently when I bought a new computer with Windows 8.1. However, when I tried to install mpi10 on my new computer, I realized the two weren't compatible.
I really like mpi10, & I work with pictures quite often. Question is... is there a way to make it compatible, or is there another photo editing software that it compares with, that is compatible with Windows 8.1, & that I can download from your site?

Yes, as per the compatibility status on Windows Compatibility center is concerned, Microsoft Picture It is not compatible with Windows 8.1. Refer to the link to get the details:
However, in Windows 8.1 Operating System, you can use Windows Live Photo Gallery in place of Microsoft Picture It:

Hi StanMcDonald, not shore what your point is !!
I have picture it 7 and picture it premium10 both installed on32 & 64 Bit versions of Windows 10 pro v1709
they both work very well, no problems.
When installing on 64 bit versions a error window does say does not install on 64 bit versions but that is not so
it does install and run ok in both versions.
The trick is when the error window shows, click on start button and click on log off (it wont log off as you have not cancelled the install of picture it program).
Then click on Cancel log off, the picture it program will then fully install.
I have since updated windows 10 to the latest version 1803 (just out) still both versions of picture it work OK.

I have Picture It 7 and Picture it 10. My system is a 64 bit Windows 10 system. Picture It 7 loads and runs fine but my Picture It 10 says It won't run on a 64 bit machine . It also try's to install updates that are superseded in Windows 10. Go back to Picture It 7 and give it a try.
