I have been using Microsoft Picture It! Premium 10 (mpi10) with Windows XP for quite some time until just recently when I bought a new computer with Windows 8.1. However, when I tried to install mpi10 on my new computer, I realized the two weren't compatible.
I really like mpi10, & I work with pictures quite often. Question is... is there a way to make it compatible, or is there another photo editing software that it compares with, that is compatible with Windows 8.1, & that I can download from your site?

Yes, as per the compatibility status on Windows Compatibility center is concerned, Microsoft Picture It is not compatible with Windows 8.1. Refer to the link to get the details:
However, in Windows 8.1 Operating System, you can use Windows Live Photo Gallery in place of Microsoft Picture It:

I just spoke with a Microsoft tech about the same problem, There is no program that is compatible with Microsoft. I purchase Photo Explosion and other photo editing programs, but I am not happy with any software or results. Hope you can find something workable, if you do , please let me know. Good luck.

I have an older family member that makes yearly calendars with pictures of family in it every year as a gift. I have had to install a virtual machine (Oracle Virtual Box) on his windows 10 computer to run OS Windows XP so that he can use his old Picture It! disc and run the program. It's needs updating almost every year but it does work. You might try that.
