Hi Shenan Stanley,
Google is not a REAL favorite of mine either, I would stand clear of it any way you can. NOT since I got hacked by them, as being named on a long list of users by YAHOO. Com. IF you want to be scammed by the email. Every time I want to download Adobe Reader 11, I get Google's toolbar and Google Chrome, as soon it is all loaded, I unstall Google and all of its extensions and delete all of its remenant folders.
Be Dammed any spyware you have or antivirus software, it is only a temporary liccensed by the makers and they too are not to be trusted because they are only insterested in your money also and have NO interest in you as the user! Only when it FREE like Microsoft Security Essecentials, you can trust it! THE best security is not use the Internet AT ALL because you have a less of a chance being hacked by adware, spyware and a virus ... In my case, I do it by changing hardware daily and that is your best defense also. It is not a software issue anymore, it is also a hardware issue, I wont tell you HOW but is for you to invest in something better than a one lung (Drive) PC like a stupid notebook has! there is no real backup offline elsewhere at your disposal or use.

What are you talking about? I may not like search engines (in general, not just Google) either, because I hate unreliable search results (which is why I typically use the search bar on official websites that have information about their own products), but it's not Google's fault if you find malware in a search result. If something is not detected automatically, then it takes time to manually remove that entry, and people are going to get hit by that entry within the time it takes to remove it. That doesn't mean anything is Google's fault.
Now for sure I have decided to unsubscribe from this thread and never come back to it again: I'm tired of reading multiple nonsense posts a day, seven days a week. Reply to me, I don't care, but please understand that there is a zero percent chance of me reading it.
And when you install Adobe Reader, don't just uninstall the Google stuff: uncheck it in the first place when you download Reader. (as is the case with a lot of other software in the world)
ONE PC is also not enough! It is like putting all your EGGS (DATA) in ONE basket. There is NO real backup!

Again, I ask: what are you talking about? If an external drive in unplugged and electronically powered down, malware can't touch it. Offsite/online storage is in case of a disaster such as a fire.
