USB port malfunctioning, always says "USB Device not recognized"

I have a samsung laptop, model number NP350E7C-A01US. Every time I insert anything into one of my four USB ports, I get the error: "USB Device not recognized".

    Have you tried my earlier suggestion of uninstalling the USB root hubs from within Device Manager, rebooting, and allowing Windows to rediscover them?
