We have a solution that may work that involves an override of the Windows driver:
Please go to the following web page and unplug your microphone
http://www.samsontech.com/samson/products/microphones/usb-microphones/gomicdirect/
-then scroll down and select the downloads and manuals tab
-Click on “Sound Deck Software for Windows”
-Run the software install
-Restart your computer
-Plug the Microphone back in
Once installed you will see a blue S Icon in your task bar(bottom right of the screen), click on that as you may need it to control levels
