I didn't try multi boot of win 8 and 10, but when trial of win8 ends (if it really deactivated after that month), exists rearm feature 3 times during 3 month, you able format/remove win10, call to MS callcenter describe that you don't want use win 10 and reactivate your win 8, if you have proof of purchase;

yes, I am happy with win10, most apps work same, some apps use less mem, dx12 will use in future widelly and all will switch to win 10 in fututre;

is same stable as win 8, and after cleanup work same fine;

win 10 looks more like windows OS, because metro apps now work inside resizeable window, and start menu looks similar to old good windows OS;

MS L3 said if you GWX your 8.1, it becomes illegal (maybe after that first month?)

and you cannot use it again w/o the activation issue arising after w10 activated.

EXAMPLE:

Cloned w8 is one o/s & GWX'd w10 is another, they both can't activate according to

MS. So if I did GWX & it removed my billing program forcing me to run the cloned 8

again to bill a customer, they said it would not work cause w10 is now the only o/s

activated & any clone or BU or hVM would no longer work because it "IS A SECOND

COPY Running."

I don't see how having a clone of w8 will do any good because according to MS phone support level 2 once you patch w8 into being w10 it must be activated - which will illegalize all previous versions used to create the w10 upgrade.

They also said once updated, if the process removes any progys from w8 you cannot revert to get them back, you must reinstall all items removed by w10.

First of all you able revert during one month with one button inside win 10;

I didn't try and don't known how work activation at win8 and 10, but if you created full HDD (or partition) backup (better with acronis, comodo, partionmagic, etc) you able to do multi boot on same PC and select boot win8 or upgraded win 10; It's on your risk and if you use it on same PC (not at same time with hyper-V, vmware or virtualbox) it must be legal (read ms ULA to be sure);

FYI: if you buy win8 and didn't lost key you have 1 year to July to decide what win better 10 or 8;
