Windows Defender in Windows 8.1 Will Not Turn On
I recently updated Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. Windows Defender had been on in Windows 8 and even after the update to 8.1. I turned it off momentarily but have been unable to turn it back on. To my knowledge, I have no other anti-virus programs running. How can I turn it back on?

2015-06-03T08:57:10+00:00 May I point out to you that this is a fórum where people strive to help one another so I have every right to pass my information on to other members just as you have! Ok, what I have to say is not that positive but neither are the questions as they shame Microsoft for putting out software that doesn't work for so many people!

2015-06-02T22:52:20+00:00 For me neither but if I comment here I immediately get a guy telling me not to do so, that I am only allowed to comment on my question which is stupid because otherwise why would these other questions be sent to me? I don't think Microsoft wants people to know that so many people have either lost the Defender, which is my case or can't get it to work. This is ridiculous!
