Hi, I originally had windows 8 PRO where facebook calling was working fine. I upgraded to 8.1 PRO on 17th, since then am unable to see the Facebook video calling button. I also frequently get the msvcr110.dll was not found error. I have tied all solutions posted on this forum like do a clean boot, uninstall - install etc. Microsoft Fix it page says " We're sorry, but your operating system is not supported by Microsoft Fix it at this time. " Tried running in compatibility mode. I even tried downloading .net frame work and C+ redistribution, but it says system already has the latest software. Right click on google chrome launch icon and go to properties.......then under the compatibility tab choose to run chrome in compatibility mode of windows 8...... it worked for me.. .....this is just a workaround to keep things working but still shame microsoft :( Oh, thankyou,,, it worked... thankyou for advice on this site... i just tried video call with a friend and it worked...... THANKYOU SO MUCH!!!

I just happened to try Video Calling yesterday and to my surprise it just worked. I'd given up on it ever working again.

i had this issue too. try to upgrade your video driver for win 8.1. it's work for me

Method 1: Step 1 : If you are using Internet Explorer, then try the following steps and check: You may refer to the article to add check in compatibility view settings. Fix site display problems with Compatibility View Step 2: You may try to clear the browser cache and check. If you are using Internet Explorer, then try the following steps to clear the cache: You may try deleting the temporary internet files and check if it helps. a. Open Internet Explorer on desktop. b. Press Ctrl+Shift+De l, select and delete your temp files, cookies and browsing history. Method 2: Also make sure you have install the latest version of graphic card and other device drivers referring to the computer manufacturer website and also check Windows Updates for optional driver updates. Facebook video calling / chat does not work after windows 8.1 PRO upgrade / update

Hi,

I originally had windows 8 PRO where facebook calling was working fine.
