Windows 8.1 touch screen not working?

Is there a touch screen bug in the final version of Windows 8.1 or is there a particular setup I need to do to get touch to work reliably?

I just installed it on my Fujitsu T902 and sometimes the touch screen responds and sometimes it doesn't. The same also applies for the digitizer.

it started working again. I tried a lot of stuff with the Microsoft tech help, so i'm not sure whether any of it worked or it was just time. I know it had something to do with a driver for USB something or other

simple, throw away the screen and buy a new one....ha ha, the only way what could be done is to go back to the fujitsu website to look for the driver for your model of touch screen and reinstall the driver.
