Consumer Cellular APN MMS settings not working after WP 8.1 Update

My folks' two Lumia 520s on Consumer Cellular (an AT&T MNVO) took the 8.1 upgrade without issue a couple weeks back, however they now can't receive MMS messages (a photo attached to a text message for example) anymore, the settings we used successfully previously were:

Navigate to: Settings / cellular + SIM (add Internet APN and MMS APN if not present)

Edit Internet APN:  

APN= att.mvno

Edit MMS APN:

APN= att.mvno

WAP gateway= proxy.mvno.ccmobileweb.com

WAP port= 80

MMSC= http://mmsc.cingular.com

MMSC port= 80

Maximum MMS size= 10485

Has anyone successfully gotten this to work post WP 8.1 upgrade?  Currently it indicates that there is media attached to the message but will not download it when clicked.  Thanks -

I upgraded my folks' 520s to 635s this Christmas still on Consumer Cellular and had to enable their APN settings, was able to just use the same SIM card.

The 635s come with 8.1.  These settings worked, note that to get MMS images and videos to come through I had to choose IP type as IPv4 *only*:

Edit Internet APN:

APN= att.mvno

Edit MMS APN:

APN= att.mvno

WAP gateway= proxy.mvno.ccmobileweb.com

WAP port= 80

MMSC= http://mmsc.cingular.com

MMSC port= 80

Maximum MMS size= 10485

IP Type= IPV4

Thank you thank you for posting this!!!  My husband and I just bought a pair of 635's and instantly fell in love with the format and capabilities of the phone.  We went through the 2 hour long phone call to consumer cellular with absolutely no luck (the operator ended the call with "well you must just have a phone that can't send pictures on our network").  I am so glad that I read through the message boards and found this.

The above settings work people!!!  The line that was throwing a wrench in it for me was the IP Type.  After 8.1 the default setting is IPV4V6.  After changing this to IPV4 I was able to successfully send and receive picture messages.  Thank you johnhardyiv, thank you!  I will be calling consumer cellular to inform them of the fix so they can update their "troubleshooting" software and hopefully pass this information on to others who are having this issue.

    Similar experiences with a Lumia 640 -- bought it as as AT&T GoPhone but switched before using it to Consumer Cellular. I tried everything I could find on the internet, from this and other sites. I think what I may have been doing wrong was not restarting the phone for each set of input values . . . . . but I'm not really sure if that matters. Haven't found any recommendations that say to do so. Could also be that either CC or my old carrier wasn't ready yesterday. Who knows?

    In any case, these values didn't work last night, before I shut the phone down, but they did work this morning. I can get to the web, successfully texted a photo to myself, and have LTE up at the top. (Anything else I should check?)

    Internet APN (all fields but these are blank):

    APN    =  ccdata

    Authentication type is set to PAP and can't be changed by me

    IP type =  IPv4

    MMS APN:

    APN                         = ccdata

    Authentication type is set to PAP and can't be changed

    WAP gateway          = proxy.mobile.att.net

    WAP gateway port  = 80

    MMSC (URL)            = http://mmsc.mobile.att.net/

    MMSC port              = 80

    IP type                     = IPv4

    Tried all the suggested MMS APN settings to get my Lumia 635 to send and accept texts with pictures using my newly contracted Consumer Cellular account (had AT&T with the same phone and no problems with texts/pics), and nothing worked.  I stumbled on the following settings which WORKED (after two weeks of searching, testing, replacing, even synthesizing and cross-data referencing!):

    APN:  mvno

    User Name:

    Password:

    WAP Gateway (URL): 66.209.11.32

    WAP Gateway Port: 80

    MMSC (URL):  http://mmsc.cingular.com

    MMSC Port:  80
