How do I disable the new titlebar in Modern Apps?

I installed the new W8.1 update 1 today.  I find the new Metro App titlebar totally stupid, useless, and very annoying.  It apparently only shows on computers with a mouse attached.

Is there a way to disable this titlebar?  I hear it may officially be called a "window menu".

I have been using Stardock's ModernMix to make Modern/Metro useful.  ModernMix is what the new update should have been.  Having this new titlebar popping up across the top of my screen when using windowed modern apps is really annoying!

BTW, what is it nowadays, Modern, Metro, or Retro?  lol

Edit 04-10-2014:  Stardock got this solved real slick with their new ModernMix 1.14 beta.  They even managed to add a window option to the titlebar, which still shows in full screen mode.  Nice!  When you reduce a modern app down to a window, the title bar is disabled.

Pretty slick!  I can't understand why Stardock is so good at this stuff but it takes Microsoft multiple versions over multiple years to get to the same place, maybe!

    Let's say I have the "Modern" Remote Desktop client connected to multiple Remote machines.  When I click the RDP Taskbar icon, the Window Title bar appears immediately and stays there for 5 seconds.  My immediate task is to hover over the top of the RDP window in order to select the Remote machine that I want to manage.  I am forced to wait these 5 seconds for the Title bar to disappear.

    I have also, on multiple occasions, accidentally closed the "Modern" RDP client because the Title bar's X button overlays the X button of a window in the remote machine.

    It's actually real simple MS;  whenever there's a controversial feature - make it optional.  NEVER add a UI feature that can't be turned off.  Problem solved.  You've been taking way too many queues from Apple in this regard lately.

    I agree. When you try to please everyone, we all lose.  But I see it the other way around too. We already have a perfect environment for mouse users, a special place that has been built and carefully refined over decades. We call that the desktop. So mouse users should use it.

    I agree with you. People who made this change in Modern UI (Windows 8 Style UI) isn't clever. This change is worse and prevent use Modern Apps.

    Well all it does is get in the way. 8.1 was fine before this update. All I want is the option to turn it off. The clueless mouse users can keep it on. Angry mobs are almost always wrong and shouldn't be listened to.

    It's there for the people that use a mouse pointer, so that they can control the window the same way they have for the past 27 years.  Nearly every mouse-user on the planet has been complaining about the title bar disappearing in Windows 8, so they finally added it back to appease them.

    Mouse users get what they want (familiar interface) and touch users get what they need (no extra UI crowding the interface).  Everyone wins. 

    But alas, you can never please everyone.
