Nokia Lumia 930 microphone problem

Hello.

I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.

 When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.

So far i've done:

Soft reset

Hard reset

Nokia Software recovery tool

Does anyone have this issue?

Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

    Guys try to give feedback to Microsoft directly from your device..

    goto settings - rate us - give em low rate and type in the box

    I think thats the quickest way to communicate with em althoough they are not goona reply to our query but atleast they will know abt the problem

    I thing this issue arises after the denim update coz I was using that phone for 3 months now and before it was all okay. I have the same problem as you but its after I updated my phone to Denim.

    So I think its the software issue 

    does anyone has the same problem after they updated the phone?

    Hi, Gabriel_Acunha. Have you checked if you have the latest software installed on your phone? To check, go to Settings> phone update. You may also try checking if the system app for audio is up to date. See this link: http://i.imgur.com/NtopD.png. If in case this steps do not work, you may try using the Windows Phone Recovery Tool. This may fix minor issues you are experiencing with your phone.

    I'm from Brazil and I have the same issue, mic doesn't work fine when using the speaker at a call and one side of the stereo sound at recordings is 90% lower than the other side, also reccording programs like whatsapp or skype ain't working aswell.

    We also have a topic at the Brazilian Nokia Comunitty about this issue and we have around 100~120ppl with the same issue, seems it's a generic problem and microsoft/nokia ain't doing nothing about it.  Sad :(

    Hi, 

    is anyone looking into this? I have checked my videos, I didn't realize before, it seemed like sound was fine on videos, but when I am listening on headphones, one side is nearly mute, but not completely, one can hear a little bit, so the hardware seems to be working. It also appears that the issue only came in december, there was some kind of update (not denim) which made it worse. Is this a bigger thing or are we the only ones with this problem? What is Microsoft/Nokia saying?
